Martina Drignat comes from Bavaria's second largest city. But a few boys from Wiesbaden account for the fact that the camera has been her constant companion since 2003. The band Readymade was her first subject and the essential photographic inspiration. During an open-air concert Martina created her best photo so far due to nearly perfect conditions like a fog machine, glistening white lights and a low stage. "Learning by doing" defeats tiring theory and trying beats careful weighing. Precisely because she knows that there are hardly more demanding motives than musicians in action. Nevertheless the pictured ones will not be withdrawn. The music is always to the fore. Therefore, she does not have great idols in particular. But in the case of Nada Surf, Sigur Rós or Hubert von Goisern she doesn't need to be asked twice.
